It did work for me on two different phones (2G and 3G). If not you can try to restore the ORIGINAL firmware first. Then you quit iTunes, delete the file x12220000_4_Recovery.ipsw and start PwnTool again to create a NEW custom firmware.</description>

		<description>This doesn&#039;t work.  I updated to iTunes 8.0 on my Mac.. deleted this file as you stated.  Re-built a custom ipsw... DFU restore = error 1600.  Recovery Mode restore = Error 6.
